​Never mind. I found the empty trailer, but you can't open the door using the trainer because you can't enter the vehicle. I tried attaching a big rig and going through the door menu but didn't do anything. I literally had to punch the door open. Air-breaking de-spawns the trailer so i will just put cars in the lower level. Now how to shut the door is another question.

​Yeah I figured that part lol. I can open the back door by force but can't shut it because I am afraid the cars will roll out. Would have been much simpler if R* had brains and made the trailers more interactive like they did with the cargobob. The skylift doesn't even work unless I am missing something

​Try "repairing" the vehicle with a trainer, it should reset the door.

​That would not work, even if attached to a big rig, because the big rig is a separate vehicle from the trailer, meaning repairing the vehicle would just repair the big rig.
