So I wanted to make my police lights brighter in game so I opened up the visualsettings.meta and assumed that to change emergency lights it would be under the car extras. Tell me if im wrong but Im pretty sure its the right place.

Well that's what it is for gta iv change it and see what happens i suppose...

Actually, that was only when using ELS with GTA 4. In the default GTA 4, this setting referred to lights that were attached to vehicles, like signs above taxis.

I'm not sure what the police vehicles would be under in V.

I was trying that the other night.I adjusted them upwards of 700 and i did not notice a substantial difference.I think we are on the right track just over looking something.

For higher value (like 90) - blue lights looks weird

i did alot of playing around  with this. NOTE: IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR LIGHTS WEIRD LOOKING DONT DO THIS! I set the value to 550 and the lights were looking good but I also had to change other lighting settings such as reflections and amiant lighting to get it to look right.

Are you talking about reflections emitting from the lightbars ? The red/blue on the sides. What line is that ?

First lighting mod and author plans to do more to the Emergency lighting in the future. Looks great.
