How to make steady burn lights in siren control box?

Featured Replies

Hi all!

So, I'm making myself a detective Taurus and I wanted to know how to make a siren control box to have lights that are constantly on.  This would be similar to like how the laptop lights up at night.  I thought about making it an extra 5 and 6, but I'd like them to always be on even when ELS isn't activated.  I have it mapped for ELS Stages but I want the power light to always be o Anyone know a way to do this?  (In case you don't know what I'm talking about I've attached a picture of it)

Thank you!

If you map it to a lightsemissive material, and *do not* put it into els it will stay on. So don't attach it to the els and it will stay on.

So I don't label it as an extra and just leave it be.  I shall try that!  Thank you so much!

But then your siren box would be lit up when your lightbar isn't I would assign it to like 7, 8, and 9 (3 copies) so they turn on when you hit J once, twice, thrice, but that's just me.

Wouldn't be possible with ELS as it is; the closest you'll be able to get is to map the first light 7, 8 AND 9; the second light 1, 2, 3 and 4; and the third light 5 and 6 - even then, if all of the 3 TA lights, 4 lightbar lights or 2 takedown flashers are off during one point in the flash cycle, OR anything's mapped to a moving surface (i.e. having the extra_5/extra_6 as numberplate flashers attached to the boot of the car) it wouldn't work properly. It also might not work properly depending on which version of ELS the client is using; ELS7 has a different activation sequence than ELS8.
