ELS

Recommended Posts

Okay, I have tried everything, but ELS STILL wont work!

I've tried installing new cars, uninstalling ELS (6 times) uninstalling LCPDFR, installed ELS before LCPDFR, then LCDPFR before ELS. In SLOTCONTROL.ini I put :

[ AMBULANCE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ FBI ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ FIRETRUCK ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ NOOSE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ NSTOCKADE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE ]
Status = on
File = lspd

[ POLICE2 ]
Status = on
File = lspd

[ POLICE3 ]
Status = off
File = default_config

[ POLICE4 ]
Status = off
File = default_config

[ POLICEB ]
Status = off
File = default_config

[ POLPATRIOT ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ PSTOCKADE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

_____________

I've tried to change the keys in ELS.ini too. I have everything I need for it to work. Plus, whenever I do CTRL + M it just calls a ambulance. All I can do is G witch activates the sirens (Wich I cant change ether......)

It's been 2 weeks, and it wont work at all.

Please help me!

Are you dragging and dropping ELS into the correct location?

Heres a simple tutorial video on how I installed LCPDFR, and ELS 8.0... just make sure you are doing all that - and let us know if you are, and like Black Jesus said - are you making sure you are using vehicles that work with it?

Are you using els cars?

BlackJesus, yeah im using 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - Los Santos Police Department.

FinKone- I did EVERYTHING in that video. But it still wont work.

Unit607- I looked at his video as well, did everything but no difference.

I press Ctrl + M in game but it just calls a ambulance. J,K,L, none do anything.

Also, none of the AI cop cars that I downloaded flash their lights., only Ambulances do, and those are native......

You're either not setting up ELS right or you changed the controls.

And the reason AI cop cars don't flash there lights is because you might have

Ai_Els_Sp = off
Ai_Els_Mp = off

Change those to on and then try.

They can be located all the way at the bottom of your ELS.ini.

Also Cj24's Los Santos Police CVPI comes with a folder named "ELS Config" once downloaded.

You must drag the lspd.ini into your ELS folder located in your GTA IV Folder.

I've done that, and they both say off.

I have done everything, but Ctrl and M just calls Medics, and the AI docent do sirens.

Also, I notice that for the AI, sometimes one light will be on but it wont flash. That or 2 lights.

This has nothing to do with LCPDFR it's all about ELS he is not setting it up right.

I am checking to make sure LCPDFR works, if it doesn't work, then it is an issue with a .dll .asi or an .asi loader.

What? His problem is ELS not LCPDFR. LCPDFR has nothing to do with the police lights/sirens.

But without an .asi loader such as xliveless, ELS won't work. LCPDFR also needs an .asi loader, such as xliveless, without one, neither script fill function. By making sure that LCPDFR works, you can easily see if you have the required loaders, and some of the required .asi files themselves.

If his LCPDFR works, then he has the .asi loaders and some other script files in the correct place, and the ELS not working is down to a different issue. If LCPDFR doesn't work, then his ELS won't work either. I am trying to see whether or not LCPDFR works, which will indicate whether or not htese script files are in the correct place.
