Daryl Gordon, 30 year Cincinnati firefighter, dies rescuing victims

Featured Replies

We lost one of our longtime firefighters this week. Cincinnati hasn't lost a firefighter since 2003. You can listen to anyone who has anything to say that he was a man's man and was dedicated to his job every single day of his life. Preliminary reports are he fell five stories rescuing multiple victims. His 30th anniversary with the city would have been this June. As far as fire and rescue goes, he was a jack of all trades and a standard bearer of what a firefighter aspires to be.

Here is a nice video and article about his revered service.
