Problems With LCPDFR MP

Featured Replies

I have some problems when I play LCPDFR MP. First of all, I can't pull people over. Second, I can't stop traffic (Quick Action Menu). And, when I try to firsk, arrest, etc. a ped they walk away! This is very annoying. And I need help ASAP.

Here's the thing, LCPDFR is and has never been stable with MP. It has gotten close, but its not there and might never get there. LCPDFR 1.1 is a bit Unstable for MP, try to use 1.0c as it may be the most stable. LCPDFR being unstable is very annoying, but the Dev team is trying their best. It's not really their faults that MP is different than Single player. No-one can pinpoint or create a solution because its almost impossible. GTA IV is a game that doesn't take modding well. It wasn't coded to be modified easily, almost all games aren't. It wasn't even supposed to be modded or fitted with scripts.

True. But how come two people with the exact same mods, one person has it and the other doesn't.

That's because GTA IV likes to have its moments on certain days. e.g. I'll be playing today perfectly normal solid 45 fps no crashes nothing absolutely perfect. Tomorrow I'll most likely get a solid 10fps with a crash every 2.2 seconds. That's just GTA IV for yah

True Buggs, Zach, and Jeff talked about that on an ETS 2 video.

Yeah that's exactly what I was referencing. What I'd do if its still persisting is restarting your computer, and see if that works
