GTA IV Backups.

Featured Replies

Okay so I was just moseying around the other day and I was thinking about my backups and all that jazz and I was just searching until I was like "I wonder if anyone out there has actually made a download for certain files of GTA IV" Now I backup everything of mine, but I was still curious, and what do you know I found someone who actually did. Now it isn't for everything but I thought this would come in handy for some users who just are too lazy to backup their files.

Without further ado here ya go: http://www.gta-downloads.com/en/gta4/file-backups

I didn't upload any of these files, simply the guys over at GTA-Downloads did.

Moderators might not like this, since it's technically piracy.

I've found this quite useful though, I've recovered my game at least once by doing this. I wasn't quite in the habit of backing up files yet. It sure beats reinstalling the game.

^This. I personally don't think it's a good idea to download anything from the Internet as a backup. You're much better off to make your own backup, as they tell you that everywhere.

It's a risk to download anything from the Internet, and something simple as a backup really shouldn't be needed to download in the first place.

Anyway, management seems to allow it, so the topic remains.
