any Suggestions on ELS and police packs ?

Hello everyone,

I am quite new so i am not really familiar with these stuff.

I have EFLC V1.1.2.0 with 0.95 RC 2 running quite well.

i have a question about what version of ELS should I install ? they say V6 is unstable and causes lightbars of other cars and the stock cars to flash off and on and the police cars will not get damage.

should I use V5 ? if yes where can i get it ?

Also anyone knows a good police car pack ? LAPD style colors i really do not care about the rest , just i want it to have good quality car models and good damage models (i crash lotsa cars :) )

I have linked account in installer but how do i upload stats ?

All ELS vehicles have the bug of "auto-repair" upon flashing their lights. Personally, I am using ELS V6 with AI lights disabled, and I have experienced no problems. V5 is sometimes more stable and sometimes more unstable. I suggest you try out both before making a decision.

There are quite a few LAPD CVPI cars that have good damage models, but they would be nullified by ELS' system.

Me too.I couldn't care less about LAPD,as well.I experiment and give a makeover to each of my GTA games,according to their real-life counterpart police systems.I used the LAPD system in SA.While,I tend to have a police force based on more of an NYPD-styled community in IV/EFLC.

As for packs,I'd say-NEVER install a bunch of cars.

Why? Well,you never know which car is gonna make your EFLC crash.Better test 'em out one by one and then assign them permanently.At least,thats what my experience with GTA:IV modding says.

ELS v5 is very stable,especially with els v5 fix.
