Featured Replies

I downlaoded the automatic version of lcprdfr , latest version supported one. 1.0D
Othe mod included are ELS v8
DD IV NYPD RUMBLER SIREN
PACK LCPD 1.1VL AC

The game crashes when invodled in a shooting, when i pull over a car and get next to the window and if the person starts shooting at me, or even when im simply trying to change textures like a hat or something like that ingame.
I own the steam version of the game its up to date.
My specs are:
AMD Bulldozer x6 3.2ghz
8gb kingston Hyperx 1600mhz
XFX 7850HD 2gb GDDR5
Mother Asus

I dont know whats wrong the game ahs never crashed on me, and i dont want to add any more mods until i figure this out, cause im planing to get Modern IV 2015 ENB but i dont know if im going to mess up the game. Im attaching every log file i could find.

Thanksss!

I'm fairly certain you are using an old version of the AdvancedHook.dll. Redownload the manual installation package, and make sure to drag AdvancedHook.dll into the GTA IV/EFLC folder. Let me know if that fixes the issue.

i'll try this out and see whats what

nope, the crash always happens when tehres a join the pursuit option, inmediately after that, the game crashes

While I do not know exactly what is causing the error, I can say with confidence that most ENBs in general, especially my own, should not cause your game to crash.

It should be safe to install my ENB, if you wish. The bug most likely has to do with a compatibility issue, a missing C++ Visual Studio installation, or something else.

Make sure that you backup any files that you are going to replace, in the case of an error.

It could be a problem with ELS V8. Try troubleshooting ELS directly by:

  • Disable ELS on NON-ELS vehicles in slotcontrol.ini
  • Disable Cruise Lights in the vehicle configuration file
  • Disable ClearRandAIExtras
  • (If Above Works) Re-enable and reduce ClearRandAiExtras distance
  • Reduce Els_Range_Ai
  • Change ASI Loader

If not, see https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-r112 for more details.
