What can I do to clean my directory up?

Featured Replies

Here's the link to a Screenshot of my directory, didn't know to list them all out without typing them. I'm very new to modding GTA, and I'm sure there's something i can do to clean my Directory out, I feel like something in there is causing me to crash.

I would suggest you start with deleting everything with a (2), (3) or (4) behind the name, as those are (probably) useless copies.

The things like, ScriptHook, and dsound have me scared to delete them because i dont wanna mess anything up, The mods come w/ their own sometimes, but so does another one, and I don't know if i should only keep one? Or?

Just keep one, the other ones are copies as indicated by the number between brackets.

Okay, Done. Did you see anything that could be causing any potential errors? I tend to crash randomly. Sometimes I can play for 45mins, other times 5-10. Only when using LCPDFR.

No, everything else is from your ENB or from GTA itself. Crashes will always happen when you use mods, no matter what.

Thank you very much for the help though :) Much appreciated.

If a mod comes with it's own version of ScriptHook, dsound, AdvancedHook, etc. this is the general rule:

On the "There is already a file with the same name in this location" screen, if it says "newer" next to "Date modified" under "Copy and Replace," then choose that option. If not, don't copy.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."
