Featured Replies

GTA IV is not being detected when running the diag tool to check the files.

ELS v6 works, modded cars work

Alt+P Just gives me a blur on the screen.

Here is my install folder D:\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV

I have all required files. I have watched videos and read forums for days.

Got the same problem, but with EFLC.

Installation Directory: D:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto IV - Episodes From Liberty City.

Yes, i bocked the "Check EFLC" box.

Ran it again and it worked.

You're missing a registry key to detect the game folder. This might be caused by not having the game installed properly (e.g. copied) or using a pirated version. Please fix this and post the log then.

I'm sorry I missed that. It seems the steam installation doesn't create a registry key or creates it at another location. I can't help you then because I don't own a steam copy. However if you think you know how to do you could look up the GTA IV registry key (assuming steam creates one) and send me a pm and I'll add steam detection in the next version.

the issue has been solved, he did not start it through steam there for the key was never created.
