Hi guys.

 

I think it's a long time people are looking for a Wolkswagen Touran 2013 cop car for gta iv.

 

As you know there is not a good 3d model of this car in net proper for games, so I created the 3d model my self, and then convert it to game.

 

It's still wip and also vip...!

Please do not post adfly links - you can show videos of your work, but don't direct our members to adfly to make money for yourself.  You may add new links to your posts, just don't direct them to pay-from-click sites (or similar).

Also, I reset your fonts to make them more readable.

@Malediction  if bold 24size fonts are not readable, why this options exist in text editor? I don't think bold fonts or 24siz font are forbidden, if they are, why you put them on text editor ?! seems strange... ;)

Its a good attempt for a beginner if you did model that, but its just way too low poly and I'm not even sure whether it has an interior or not. You should really invest your time in producing a decent quality model to the standards of IV's generic cars.

Because of adfly link the admin removed the vid, else you could see if it has an interior or not.

 

I don't see any problem with my mod and my model for a game as it supports all game features

There is a "law" (we call them Community Guidelines) about it. I have the part of the guidelines highligthed for you;

Of course its funny, obviously I'm not trying to offend you, but how often does one hear someone saying "Wolkswagen"? You can't deny that its funny.

 

Nevertheless, I respect the fact that you're a beginner and I'm not saying there's a problem with your model, I'm trying to give you some advice in terms of improvement as you claimed it was a WIP. Modeling cars isn't an easy task and I had to remodel my old VW Citi Golf approximately 5 or 6 times(I completely lost count) until I achieved perfection.

Yeah as I said it's wip, but not for it's exterior model, if you see problem I'll glad to point them on posted pics and I'll try to fix them.

I Created this model from some pics that person wanted the car like that. But if you see issues point them please.

 

And wip is because it need some more work with it's interior (adding some police objects ) and adjusting vehicle settings.

Its always so sad to see two good people you know getting to know each other for the first time getting off to a wrong start. Emad, what you mean to the civilian modding community is what Kevin means to the law enforcement modding community (actually even more). He's not a bad guy; he's just blunt with his opinions (and sometimes draws a lot of flak for that too). All he was suggesting was that you should invest some more time (and polys) into that model of yours. It looks pretty boxy even by my standards. Why don't you go ahead and put a smooth on it with a free hand, work some more on preserving the details you lost with the smoothing, reshape the car accordingly and use GTA4's stock cars for quality reference while you're at it. Its constructive criticism and I'm sure you don't ever mind that.

Bad guys? Never. Finding people in the community that actually put effort into creating work from scratch is extremely rare. Its not often that people give blunt feedback and whilst it may be received the wrong way, the intention is only to help and do good.

 

Continue with the project until the end though, I'll be following the progress. You're welcome to PM me if you'd like some advice and tips around the modeling aspects, I don't mind helping you out.
