Memory error and Log File Problems

Featured Replies

 Hi Everyone

While Playing LCPDFR 1.0(d) My game starts to lag badly after 5 mins of loading LCPDFR. I went and did and diagnostics check and said I need to check my Log File and I found this problem (have attached full file below)

Address: 12F9346 (Faulting module: C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVGTAIV.exe loaded into process space at 1150000 - function offset without PE header is: 1A8346)

Code: C0000005

Registerdump - EAX: 1 EBP: 99C0740 EBX: 0 ECX: 3B2264F EDI: 26FCB84 EDX: 0 EIP: 12F9346 ESI: 4 ESP: 43EE30Al

Also after quitting the game it comes up with and Fatal Error - Memory Error please restart the game every time!

My PC specs are very advanced with 8GB of memory ram and i run Windows 8 so I don't think its my computer

Help with this particular issue would be appreciated.

I think this is a bug something about this "Out of memory" or you used a mod what is not compatible with your GTAIV/EFLC version or the mod overwrited any file(s) what is needed to the LCPDFR work

Are you using mods what is overwrite AdvancedHook.dll, dsound.dll, Scirpthook.dll?

  • Author

I dont know what is means by overwrite AdvancedHook.dll, dsound.dll, Scirpthook.dll? And yes I am using mods

I dont have dsound installled I only have xlive

Would you like a list of the mods that I use?

The game will always have the out of memory error when closing the game with LCPDFR installed, unless you manually install the taser. It can be ignored.

Originality I did not get this message ever I used to play LCPDFR 1.0© Without any memory problems like this. I am 100% certain that my lag problem is directly related to the memory problem.

If you using mod what is overwrite AdvancedHook.dll, dsound.dll, Scriptshook.dll that bad because the LCPDFR need too the AdvancedHook.dll, dsound.dll, Scriptshook.dll to work perfectly

What he is asking is... Did any of the mods you installed overwrite those files? If they did you need to go get the originals back by downloading the manual install of LCPDFR and overwriting those files.

No, the issue isn't relative. It will happen on every computer so long as GTA IV is loading new img files. The LCPDFR taser is in its own models file that is loaded by AdvancedHookInit.asi, so that out of memory error will happen every time you close the game. If you didn't get the error before then you either manually installed the taser or the taser didn't work because AdvancedHookInit didn't load it.

Okay I have replaced all the files with the new LCPDFR 1.0(d) Hotfix version and now when I click "Play (offline)" in the Rock star Games box the game screen goes black (just before the GTAIV and EFLC Play box comes up) and then the LCPDFR Error Reporter box opens and then the usual "GTAIV has stopped Working" error box comes up.

I have run the diagnostics tool and It now says that I have two ASI loaders running (I do know what this means) and I that my log files have been checked but, next to that is the progress line is colored in red not green like all the others.

Also, I am wondering if I uninstall Xlive and only have dsound running then will the game keep my save games or not, and if it failed to keep my savegames how could I get the game to load my savegames if the game fails to load them after deleting Xlive.

If you use dsound, it will use GFWL saves. You can move your offline (xlive) saves from /documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/savegames to the GFWL location in users/[windows username]/AppData/Local/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/savegames/user#

So how can I get GTAIV to work?

Also, I have attached another Diagnostics File below it is saying

"[Log Check] AdvancedHookInit.log doesn't disable loading screens

[Log Check] AdvancedHookInit.log doesn't detour pool creation
[Log Check] Log started on: 17:38:27 2-6-2015"

The error in AdvancedHook.log is a generic crash, it doesn't tell me anything. The best thing to do would be to uninstall GTA IV and delete everything in it's folder. Then install GTA IV, install the latest patch (unless you are using Steam), then make sure the game starts. If it does, then install LCPDFR.

OK I have repaired the game and it and the scripts are working well without LCPDFR 1.0(d). Should a do a manual Installation or an automatic one what is your preference?

  • Author

Unfortunately it will not install because I cannot delete the advanced hook files if I can delete or overwrite those it should install normally.

Deleted them now just installing

ITS WORKING THANKS WILL!

I only have one more question for you. When I loaded GTA IV It loaded the first mission, The Cousins Bellic

How Do I load my previous savegames?

You said earlier to go to app data ,local, Rockstar Games, GTAIV, savegames. and then I put the savegames in both the (user_e00001fccbe7e199) and (user_invalid) folders, but when I want to load my savegames I says "Load Failed. Please check your hard Drive and try again."

Can you assist with this or do you know anyone else that can help me?

If simple you copy a 100% savegame in the GTA IV savegames that not enough because after 5-10 min automaticly turn on the drunk cam, if you deleted the xlive.dll the savegames are gone, but if you not deleted just moved away from the GTA IV main folder you just copy that back and the savegames are back
