I think I've read about as much as I can about current, known issues for 1.0d and this doesn't look to be one of them. No matter what I do, I cannot search the trunk. I remove the person from vehicle, I detain them (on foot or in car), and even after arresting them. The only thing it allows me to do is write a parking ticket/citation, and sometimes that does not always come up. Any ideas? Or am I completely stupid and missing something obvious? Thanks for any help.

Yeah, I had the same problem too. Yoy have to go in the vehicle before you can search it, and it's e to search.

i can push the LB button six or seven hundred times and eventually i'll search the car. here lately i've been letting the K9 do vehicle searches :D

 

It's very finicky, you need to be in the perfect position then press the button about 3000 times. There's a random chance that you might successfully search the trunk, and if not then try another 3000 times. 

 

I don't really know why, but yeah searching trunks can be hard for the LCPD.
