If your error is "error in script lcodfr.loader.loader" , Then remove xlive.dll & put dsound.dll , i hope your "error in script lcodfr.loader.loader" will get fixed   ,

If fixed hit 'Like' .

I have actually been using dsound the whole time ;( thats the one in my root folder I believe, also the one I even chose when auto installing.

That isn't your issue, however. Your issue is that there is something going wrong with Visual C++ Redistributable. What I need you to do is this:

Download the LCPDFR manual install and copy AdvancedHook.dll to your main GTA IV folder. You copied the AdvancedHook from ELS which is outdated (and has been mentioned literally hundreds of times, half of my posts since the release of 1.0d have been related to this).

Also, be a little patient. None of us are sitting around staring at the support section just to help you.

Lol sorry i dont sit around and stare at your post to see you mentioned it hundreds of times (plus ive been gone for a year and have just come back to 1.0d from 0.95 FYI) and the orig. advancedhook was in there before and it did the same but ill give it a try. and i wasnt trying to sound desperate when i stated that, now the fact that its just a annoyance IMO
