pc games are having problems its lagging over everything which is weird i did a virus scan with 2 different scanners nothing. disk cleaning nothing. im doing disk defragment maybe that will fix it but any ideas?

 

my dumb fault i meant the games not the pc sorry guys :(

Is it using a different power source than normally? Maybe reset your computer back to when it was faster?

i used the amd catalyst thing to change the screen to fix my screens to fit a few games do you think that would change the way the games function. and if i system restored the computer would it affect the maintenance done on it and the screen changes?

Re install windows and re install all drivers plus updates. Check your temperatures, maybe something is seated properly and clean out any dust in your case with compressed air/q tip. 

Maybe its time for a new pc? How old is it?

What RunnGTX Said. What are your specs? It may be time for a upgrade, with all of the next-gen games coming out.

Hmm, if your games are lagging you might need to update drivers.. or it might be time for an hardware upgrade =)

Were your games lagging before, or all of a sudden just started lagging hard? (For example, you used to play GTA at 60FPS and all of a sudden you can only play at 15FPS)

You are probably best of by "refreshing" you pc in advanced settings in your pc.
