Game crash - AdvancedHookManaged.AVehicle.CreateCarAroundPosition

Featured Replies

When running LCPDFR 1.0d Hotfix 1, the game runs for a minute or so, Then When I approach anything LCPDFR related ( Resist arrest randomly, or anything that spawns a vehicle ) or if LCPDFR creates a mission, the game will crash with a black screen and the default 'the application has stopped working' error.

I'm running:

LCPDFR 1.0d Hotfix

- GTA IV 1.0.7.0 (Steam Version)

- ELS and Added Policevehicles. ( I've tried to narrow down the issue to ELS or vehiclemod problems.. but the game runs just fine with no LCPDFR activated. )

- Win 7 x64

Windows event log (seems to be the most interesting of the logs) shows the following:

Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.AccessViolationException

From your support post, I have checked the following:
- I don't have any cracks or other mods installed
- GTA is up to date
- Running game as admin
- GTA root folder and all sub folders are cleared of the read-only field
- ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll are in the root folder
- dotNet 4.5, vcredist 2012 x86 and x64 are installed (also tried a reinstall of the vcredist x86 and x64)
- Set the configurator to preload models, also tried it without preloading.

Reinstall LCPDFR or you can repleace these files from the manually install AdvancedHook.dll, ScriptHook.dll, and dsound.dll if your not using xlive.dll. Hope it solves your problem :D

For some reason I get the feeling this might be caused by ScriptHookDotNet.dll being in your folder, make sure it doesn't exist and only ScriptHookDotNet.asi does.

Yeah i've had other issues with that file in the root folder. But now it's only two scripthooks present:

ScriptHookDotNet.asi and ScriptHook.dll
