Checkpoint Assistance

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've looked at the user guide, but couldn't find any help. I also checked previous posts on the LCPD forum but again to no avail. I cannot remember how to use the checkpoint. I know that to start it I press Ctrl+B, but I dont know the commands to direct traffic through. Its happened several times where ambulances and fire trucks have stopped at my checkpoints and I'm frantically pushing every key command to allow them to go through. Can anyone tell me how to direct the traffic?

Kind Regards

Control U and Control I are what I use to release traffic after stopping them.

I believe you use the quick action menu, though I'm not sure what tab the options would be in. Press tab with the QAM open to switch between them.

I've tried all three tabs, it doesn't seem to work. Previously I think it was Alt+Y, I think. I tried it but it doesn't work. Have you used it?

That hasn't worked for me, I tried with the left Ctrl key, does it release all the vehicles or just the front one? If I remember correctly it used to flag up any ANPR hits and allow you to direct one car at the time to move or stop. I haven't used it in such a long time, I have forgotten how it works. Did you change the commands for LCPDFR or are you using the default ones?

No that hasn't worked either. I had a back-up of 1.0c and within that you use Alt, pointing it at the vehicle, and with the QAM you have the option to "Move through" or "Stop vehicle", but with the new one I can't see anything. And the keys that you have given me haven't worked either. It may be a lost case, LCPDFR seems to have forgotten to put it in the new one perhaps?

Idk I have never used qam to stop anyone. What u CAN do is install the breathalyser mod. If u stop someone u push alt B and it will keep the guy from running and sees if he is drunk or not. It also includes a built in script that keeps all cars behind it and wont let them overtake the lane. Once the stop is over then u push alt G or Alt I to release the first car or all cars .

I should have remembered that earlier because that is what I was originally talkin bout :P see if that works
