These mounties were investigating a stolen vehicle, when they were shot. Both are critically injured.

One of them was only Auxilliary RCMP, so he didn't even have a weapon to defend himself..

What exactly does the Canadian Gov think is going to happen, they allow un armed RCMP Officer on beat with real Officers put in the same dangerous situations, they think they are going to go easy on them?

The aux. officers understand the danger of police work and not carrying a gun. Sad of course but they assume the risk

One of the officers had been shot in the head. He is expected not to survive.
Very sad.
