[REQ] Front Indicator Script

Featured Replies

I know there's already an indicator script, but would it be possible for anyone to make a front-only indicator script which doesn't turn on your rear indicators? The Taurus and CVPI's parking lights are like this, and it would be a really neat feature to have.

Yes indeed parking lights would be great. Hell I'd even be okay with a script that turns on the indicators to steady burn at night, but turns it off at day time.

You can do that with indicator script.

Enable permanent, assign the key in indicator.ini

then you can use them as steady burn mode.

Only problem I see is that some models have all 4 indicators attached to the front indicators instead of having 4 seperate indicator dummies for each corner. (cj24's cvpi)

What I meant was on all cars in game, not just the player car. I'm already using SNT's "k" + "numpad 9" combination to turn on the indicators, but I can't turn on the pedestrians'.

@propel

Actually that's not right. Just like on my CVPI, the front indicators are the only one that are present. If there's no rear indicator dummy, GTA will use the taillights as indicators. You can check out the Dukes for example, which has absolutely no indicator dummies, but still the taillight is used as an indicator.

Also since it's possible to flash 1 side of the indicators, I can't understand how it wouldn't be possible to make all the front indicators work. However even if that's impossible, a simple script that turns on the indicators on every driven vehicle and only at night, should be easy to make.
