LCPDFR 1.0d Megathread

Oh, your partners actually help you? Let me tell you a story: I stopped a vehicle, went to the driver site window with my partner (who had his shotgun ready), the driver starts shooting at me with a Uzi and my partner.. well... he put his gun away, looked at the driver at first, then he turned around to my dead body, (stared at it too) and did basically nothing (happened to me a lot of times btw.) Because I play in hardcore mode, I can't shoot back while the phucktard is shooting at me. The end. :p Another time he ran right into the drug deal. Guess what happened. ^^ :D

Oh not to worry, thats also happened to me, around 12 times so far. I just watch as he does nothing, or sometimes, he just shoots the metal parts of the vehicle whilst completely missing the guy who has just murdered me. Needless to say I get my own back by running them over whilst they stand by the side of the road.

With 1.0D I become much more stable, and barely EVER crashed, maybe once every 4 hours if I were to put sessions side by side, but now that the hotfix 1 has taken the download link of 1.0D, I can't get 1.0D back. Can I get it still somehow?

Is the new flashlight feature the reason why my partner pulls out his pistol on a routine traffic stop ready to shoot the driver?

Other than that, great update. Probably the most stable I've seen LCPDFR.

Nope, that was added in 1.0. It's a very simple way of representing contact/cover, maybe with a bit of exaggeration thrown in because it's GTA.

Is there a way to disable it? For me, it only really happens in 1.0d. On the off chance that it happens on 1.0c, I would press "R" for my partner to regroup so he's not aiming a gun at an "innocent" person. However, "R" doesn't seem to work for me and I have to go through the QAM. Is there a way to fix this (and yes, it is bound on the configuration file).

Partners following in vehicles have an annoying habit of constantly testing their ram bar on my rear bumper and can't seem to get though a chase or even a simple drive from A to B without completely writing off their car.

Also their vehicle despawns if they exit and you move too far away (Like normal cars do) and having to run back to their car to order them back into it after getting them to regroup at an incident is kind of annoying.

Adding something to mark a vehicle as their vehicle and a command to just order them back to their own car would be helpful as well as making it so a secondary vehicle won't despawn if you walk too far away from it (making it so you could choose a secondary vehicle upon leaving the PD would be incredibly helpful). And either making it so their car is indestructible (or repairs whilst out of view) would also solve the issue of them not bothering to look after it.
