I have reinstalled GTA IV, LCPDFR, .net framwork 4, and C++2010 Redistributble. When i press alt + p nothing happens

-I have v1.0.7.0

-I run as admin

-I'm on the second mission

-I have no other mods installed

-I have no other saved games

-it is not pirated got from gamestops impulse

-I tryed dsound and xliveless

i have reinstalled everything three times and run as admin and it still does not work

can anybody help

I dont run GTA in admin. and i can still go on duty.

Well it's always better to run with admin as otherwise if the mod encounters a error it is unable to write to the logs.

Mine says go to station and be a police, but no station wil let me enter?

Use dsound instead of xliveless and see how that goes when you reinstall the mod.

(and make sure you delete xliveless files in your gtaiv root directory)

ya i have tryed dsound and xliveless still does not work. Dont reply im done trying 3 weeks and not one person could help. . i am uninstalling it and giving up.

Okay but just be aware we have tried, this is a problem on your end and not a problem with the mod.

To be more specific, your scripthookdotnet is not activating.

edit: why is your gtaiv installed in a 2k games directory? You've probably installed part of the necessary files in a non-existant rockstar gamesgrand theft auto iv folder rather than your very peculiar 2k games folder.

I would uninstall GTA IV, then reinstall it in the following path: C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand theft auto IV

And saying that he's the first person to tell you what is wrong, It's hard to figure out what is wrong because there are so many different causes for the problems you were experiencing.

Okay you'll need to consolidate all of your files in the one spot if you expect it to work. Please provide a screenshot of the contents of your \2k games\grand theft auto iv\ folder and a screenshot of rockstar games\grand theft auto iv\ folder if it exists.

What I think is the problem:

I believe you have the scripthookdotNet asi loader installed but not into the same folder of your grand theft auto files.

We need to make sure that the same folder that includes gtaiv.exe, launchgtaiv.exe and all the other files and folders that gtaiv needs to run also has the following files inside:

scripthook.dll

scripthook (text document)

scripthookdotnet.asi

scripthookdotnet

In game screenshot? The question and answer to it has been posted all over the forums several times. Hit SHIFT & TAB in game to reveal a list of controls, look them up on the forum using the search bar, or use a program like FRAPS.

Out of game, it's the 'Print Screen' button and you can paste the image into something like MS Paint.

Open the windows that I've told you I'd like to see, press print screen on the top right of your keyboard, paste it into a program like microsoft paint, save it and then upload it with imgur.com then post a link to the image in your reply to this topic.

Unlr3al, am I wrong about what I believe is the problem?

I have no idea why the directory would be what he listed unless it's a pirated copy and the r-tard who uploaded it though it was made by 2K games.

Oh, that just brightens up my knowledge of screenshotting lol....
