Hey guys, decided to make a new skin that I will be releasing (I've been working on quite a few skins based upon my town's PD's liveries for their Tahoes, Caprices, and their old Crown Vics which I'll probably be keeping private) which is a marked stealth skin for Cj24's '13 Highway Patrol Charger.  It's still a WIP since I'm not sure if I should change anything before public release which is why I came here for opinions and feedback before release!BdDogsq.jpg69gtIPI.jpg9PTRhp5.jpgThanks in advance for any suggestions!

I'm not one for stealth skins, but you should change the font. It makes it look unprofessional with that font.

Yeah I originally had it as Impact, but changed it to see.  I did like the original font better so I think I'll change it back

I would add a badge and change the text to a better wide more bold text....but nothing too extreme. I LOVE this font: Eurostile MN. Try using it.

Thank you!  I'll probably go back to my Impact font I was previously using, and I will add a badge to it, the badge of course will be darkened to match the stealth theme because what's the point of a stealth marked vehicle when you have a colorful badge sticking out.  Will update with new pics soon.

Updated version

Added badges from real world LCSO as well as changed the font and lightened it.

Unsure if I should keep the font this light or go back to a darker font color.

Well it looked meh at best before with the previous darker font and no badge, in my opinion, but this new font and new changes you made look fantastic! Now i'd download it! In my opinion, now you are good to go!

Once again,

You need a better font, Impact or Arial aren't gonna do it for you!

Thank you for the link!  I don't have money to buy some of those really nice font but I'm looking through the free fonts.  I switched over to Eurostile MN and as soon as I changed it I immediately loved the look of it.

Yup! I would recommend not releasing any skins until you've worked on a couple. No one can prevent you from it but I strongly recommend waiting.

Note: If you have any questions regarding skinning or modeling make sure to PM me!

This would be my second released one, my first released was an EPS skin for a Crown Vic, I've made quite a few non-released skins based upon my local PD's new and old liveries on their Tahoes, Caprices, and Crown Vics.

Oh! Sorry about that.

Oh! Sorry about that.

Haha don't worry!  This is why I'm working on this skin because it's a very basic design and will help me improve my font selections and skin making skills for later on.

Another updated, changed font, changed location of badges as well as the text, enlarged "911" and moved the telephone symbol down.PEooigU.jpgPFFMLd5.jpgrcTgijF.jpg

Not sure what else to add at this point or change.  I don't really wanna add too much stuff other than the license plates (I have a version with LC plates, and NY plates)

Looking pretty good!  The only thing I have to recommend is to make the font "bold" (or if it's already bold, "bolder") and make it a point or 2 smaller.  Then you're pretty much good to go in my opinion.  Oh yeah, as Illusionary said, drop the "s" at the end of Sheriffs.

Just my personal opinion, and I'm sure real life police agencies do it too, but...it seems pointless to have "911" and "Stop" on a stealth livery...

A lot of PDs seem to have 911 on their stealth vehicles since the graphics are reflective.  I'm kinda basing it off a local town's marked stealth Chargers but since there's no pictures of them I decided to make a fictional livery.

Will do, only had the s at the end because I thought I was going to make it "Sheriff's Office" but decided it would be too bunched up

It's bad. I'm not even going to sugarcoat it. You need to actually put effort before people will stop putting sugar on those sour gummy bears you keep nomming on.

Please work on it without posting a screenshot over a font change.
