If I seen a convertible cop car I think all I would do is just stare and be like wtf LOL

And you can't burn a Dodge Charger those cars are beast :P

On the news a while ago a Dodge Charger (Suspect) was outrunning a Crown Vic. I was amazed to see that especially knowing Ford does give them better engines than Civilian cars.

Police Crown Victorias have a speed limitng chip that tops out between 110-130mph depending on the department. A police Dodge Charger offers no major advantages to the Crown Vic (both have a 6.0 second 0-60mph acceleration) except for better top speed and is (for now) less recognizable as a police car. A civilian Dodge Charger can be more powerful than a police one, since they are not standardized. If push comes to shove, bigger police departments do have specialty cars designed for pursuits (the Mass State Highway Patrol has a Corvette ZR-1 and a 5.0 liter Mustang as an example.) And yes, helicopters are another valuable asset.

All true statements. Civilian Dodge are a bit weak, I had rented one when my car was in fix, so they gave me a Dodge Charger, and ah, well it just couldn't speed up on the hill....I don't see why a police can't outrank that......
