Game not Loading

Featured Replies

Gday All,

I'm not sure if this is just caused I have missed something.

I have read through the sticky and it sorted one of the problems but now I have another I can't shake.

So I installed LCPDFR and it looked to go through fine. But when i start the game it goes to loading mission... the sounds stops and it just locks up.

Thought it may have had something to do with a mod i had installed. Removed the mods. But no change. Have now just reinstalled GTA with only LCPDFR installed and no go.

Run the diagnostic tool and it is reporting that no ASI Loader found. Checking the GTA Dir and I can see the. xlive.dll scripthook.dll, Scripthookdotnet.asi, dsound.dll and Advancehook.dll.

Have tried some older ASI Loaders and even removed the xlive and reinstalled LCPD. But no change.

I know this has be something simple but ive been looking at so long im jus not seeing the basics.

Any Ideas.

BTW: Have installed all the Mixrosoft updates.

Sounds like a savegame issue that someone had yesterday. If nothing else works, remove/delete all your savegames

Run the error logging tool and post your log.

You have two asi loaders, remove either DSOUND.dll or XLIVE.dll

Also have you ever saved your game whilst on duty?

Dual ASI was the problem.

Noticed when i uninstalled it from steam it left the files i edited. So uninstalled and removed everything just put lcpd and all good :)

Just gotta learn how to use it now.

thanks alot mate.

Nothing to see here!
