Being NOOSE?

Hey... I can get the uniform for NOOSE etc, however there seems to be nothing to do related to NOOSE just usual callouts.

In the videos I've listed below there are lots of NOOSE scenarios such as raids and taking out the armed suspects

Even one in a chopper...

It'd be really cool if I could get to know how to do this.

Thanks <3

The mod is primarily aimed at general duties patrolmen and there are few specifically that require fully eqipped, hard tactical (NOOSE) units. You will get the occasional shootout call though which you are welcome to respond to as NOOSE. Your player character does not determine what callouts you receive.

You can't do much in a helicopter except follow chases and call backup units. If you want a police chopper you'll have to use the ingame trainer to spawn it. If you have scripthookdotNET then open the console with (`) and type spawn polmav and press enter

Some of those videos may include coordinated activities with other real players in multiplayer. Others are scripted shootout calls that will have either NOOSE or normal police spawn at a location and attack armed gang members.

It looks like in one of those videos the guy has multiple partners that are NOOSE officers. It looks like these are just bodyguards spawned with Simple Native Trainer as I don't think there is a way in the current verison of the LCPDFR mod to get more than one partner.

There also might have been some different shootout/shots fired callouts in those version of the mod compared to those in the version that is currently available. Feel free to enhance your ingame NOOSE experience however by perhaps downloading some custom NOOSE skins or models, or custom vehicles OR, one thing that I think is essential, editing the peds file so that your NOOSE units don't crouch all the time.

Download custom things:

Edit your NOOSE crouching:

What I do when I play a certain unit, say for instance drug enforcement or NOOSE, is use the force callout option (ALT + F11). That way I can force a callout that fits my unit. When I play as a NOOSE officer, I just press ALT+F11 until I get a shootout or a gang hideout. The other NOOSE officers in these videos are indeed bodyguards, spawned with SNT.

I don't think there is a way in the current verison of the LCPDFR mod to get more than one partner.

You can go back into the station after you are on duty, head to the room where the partner is and just get another one. Then you can exit and enter again to get another.

Or, you could just use SNT which is easier.

In that last video, we just spawned a bunch of peds at the hotel then flew away, once I started recording we went in..

Same goes for the museum thing, we spawned all the cars etc.. although that video features fails 'cos we didn't really take it too seriously

I've had this idea for a while that LCPDFR should group the callouts. (I'm going to jack your thread a little bit, but it's related and the suggestion section is not activated yet).

Basically, we define a key in the game to toggle what unit you are, sample categories could be metro/patrol, traffic/highway patrol, ESU/tactical/noose, all callouts, and maybe vice. Each category would have callouts assigned to it but selected "randomly":

Metro/patrol: would get the domestic violence, fights, public intoxication

traffic/highway patrol: speeding, DUI, street racing, motor vehicle accidents (if they can be coded up)

ESU/Tactical/Noose: high risk warrants (you could have to collect weapons or drugs throughout the house), bank robbery, hostage, shootout

Vice: prostitutes, (this category could be expanded if it could be coded: underground fight club, gambling rings)

all: obvious...

This would help out with role playing and if I feel like only doing traffic then I'm not bothered by domestic violence.

I wouldn't imagine this wouldn't be too difficult to implement though I've not see the code but I am a java and web programmer.

Again, sorry to jack your thread but I think this could help your Noose callouts.

I think that's a good concept, but responding to 3 call outs all the time would get a little boring.

You are right, the callouts would have to be greatly expanded. I would hope that if implemented that you could toggle what unit you are at anytime. So if you get tired of being a traffic unit, you could switch to metro.
