well read my other closed topic plz but i have try ed te g17 media diagnostic but it just said gta4 diagnostic doesn't work anymore....

so plzz help me i have done everything what it said in the troubleshooter and support guidelines but it doesn't help

I had this problem a few weeks ago, was never sure what it was related to but I just repaired (reinstalled) my game and it worked.

If you reinstall your game working with a fresh, vanilla copy there is no reason for there to be any problems.

Then re-add your mods step by step until you have what you need.

Also run the diagnostic tool and post your log file here on the forums. Ensure you have followed my signature correctly too.

And put some thought into what you write.

yeah maybe it worked with you but i did that like a 100 times

and i can't add the diagnostic tool because it said it just stopped working if i start it up :sad:

So you reinstall the game and even vanilla (unmodded) game doesn't work?

Are you running the diagnostic tool as admin?

yes i did that a couple of times deleting the whole rockstar map and the savegames and shit but it still doesn't work

i have the lcpdfr and mods because the troubleshooter en guideline said that i needed to re install my mods

If that's the case, that even the vanilla game doesn't work, it sounds external to the mod and therefore not specifically covered by this forum's support section.

It could be an issue with your savegames or other data that is not removed and rewritten when you reinstall the game.

Well there's your issue. Looking at that vid you are running police pursuit mod which has nothing to do whatsoever with G17 media or LCPD:FR.

Reinstall your game and then instal LCPDFR, but this time without installing police pursuit mod.

If however PPM is the mod you want to run then you need to get support on that forum.

well i don't have pursuit mod anymore i had it but reinstalled the game but the loading screen stays :s

soo thats the explainaison for that and the window is because of hypercam

For the record, when PPM is uninstalled, there seems to be no way to change the loading screens back to normal.

Anyways, are you running the game as an administrator? Have you made sure that there are no saved games for GTA IV anywhere on your system? (The location for them is C:UsersOWNERAppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames).

but now the problem :p plzz i wanna play so much i have searched the whole internet for the solution but i can't find it

the savegames are still in the folder but when i take them out the game still says the same mission name and doesn't start after the characters loadscreen

but what is weird too when the characters are loaded and then it saids loading-bull in a chinashop and the music stops 15 seconds before the text stops but normal you heard a ping or something and then you are in game

Did you reinstal the entire game without adding mods? You shouldn't have any problems playing vanilla GTA IV. If you have, then you have another problem as Gnat said. Also, did you by any chance save your game while on duty?
