Best Recording Headset

Recommended Posts

Hey!

For those of you who know, I am Idad99, a YouTuber. Recently, my pair of Turtle Beach's broke and it was my second pair. After receiving a sponsorship headset from GAMDIAS, I realized that the mic quality was terrible. So, I went to Walmart and bought a $15 temporary Logitech headset. Then, as a permanent replacement, I bought a SteelSeries 5H V3 headset. To my surprise, the Logitech had the best microphone out of all three. The SteelSeries mic is full of static and the GAMDIAS mic sounds like a potato. I need your help finding the best recording headset for YouTube. I will most likely end up getting a Blue Snowball but I don't want to have to lean over to talk. I would love your input!

Thanks!

Hey idad, I'm "Santa Cluaz" im a smaller YouTuber.

Currently, I Use a studio mic like the snowball, But mine was surprisingly only 10 dollars! Sounds cheap right? To be honest, It has some static, But that can easily be lowered with the change of settings...

But with any studio mic, Leaning in is a trouble... Thats why i bought a mic boom today, And hopefully i can just put the mic near my mouth.. With out any leaning.

Hope i helped, Let me know if you want the link to the mic, It has had no problems so far.

Well, as a fellow, but smaller, YouTuber, I'd suggest using a studio mic. The one I have (A Samson CO1U) cost me €150 for the mic, a pop filter and a microphone stand, so around the same price of a Steelseries 9H headset.

With my current setup, I have no static at all and great sound quality :)
