I've only JUST started to mod and I haven't had to reinstall yet. I've been very careful to research everything I need to do before even so much as adding a file. Thankfully LCPDFR's 0.95 RC2 installer is sweet as butter. I have the content backed up though on another drive, so if something does go derp, I can delete the content folder and just copy it across for a 10 minute restore.

I rarely install my GTA4. My last reinstall was a few months ago when I had to reinstall Windows. >_<

But no, GTA4 is very stable for me, so I don't ever need to reinstall that often.

Nope, all of my police vehicles are moded except the NoosE helicopter and the stockades. I just copy and paste the file I am about to mod and rename it like this:

vehicles.img

vehicles.img.BAK

I have learnt my lesson the first time I had to reinstall.

I have feroci, feroci 2, sultan, sultanRS, noose, fbi, polpatriot, nstockade. All the slots are ELS apart from the civi cars.

I always keep modding my cars.At any given time,my game has 32+ vehicles modded.

No, not that often. Not a car mod fan. I love the vehicles in the game already, why bother replace? Hell, I even added some vehicles I liked from EFLC into my GTA4.

I hate some stock cars like Oracle and Washington.So I replace 'em.And I also fiddle around a lot with visual tweak scripts.Can you suggest a way of avoiding texture loading? I think I've messed a bit too much with those visual scripts and shaders.
