Youtube Uploading....

For maximum quality and the lowest possible file size I'd recommend you rendering to .mp4. It's also favored by Youtube.

I see somebody already said about Virtual Dub. I use it, too and it's really good as fraps files take to upload forever. I remember first when I didn't know about Dub, I was uploading a 2:30 mins video to YT and it finished within 10 hours -.-

I might make some new vids so I'm gathering good mods :P

Your video is cool, too.

Thanks Guys, I compressed the video and it uploaded in about 15minutes. Now I'm gonna try and find how to record in HD! :D

I have been able to upload in HD while recording with fraps at 50 FPS. You tube then released my vid in 720. then about 2 hours later to my surprise it was available in HD.

Glad you got it sorted. 15 minutes as apposed to over 8 hours upload has got to be a win.

Too right....

I can't get it to work in HD though, I recorded with FRAPS then compressed it with Virtual Dub. Then I uploaded it but the max it will play in is 480p. Could anybody explain what I'm doing wrong?

Cheers Guys.

Tom

Use Windows LIVE movie maker.

Its simple and not as advanced as other programs but you can select "Render: For high definition displays"

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

I can't, I import my FRAPS recorded gameplay and the scenes on the right load fine but the preview video is just a black screen wuth audio. I then save the file as a WMV to see if the picture is there but its still a black screen.

Have you tried uninstalling WLM and downloading the newest version from the Microsoft site?

There could also be a problem with your FRAPS codec.
