Did you ever play Simcopter? I loved that game. There was feature to be a copper chopper and you would get a call and had to follow a car in persuit. Set your spotlight on the car and tell it to stop.

That would be great to see in LCPDFR.

 

Oh man, that was like the first game I ever played. Fun times.

Oh, wow. Never played it but we definitely need some functionality/callouts for choppers in LCPDFR. I love flying and it could be cool to follow a perp in chase, keeping your eye on him in turn aiding the AI pursuing vehicles. That could get boring after a while though, so we need some creative callouts. Maybe a unit needs a prisoner transport from Happiness Island, calls in the chopper? Perhaps a callout requires SWAT assistance, where you can load up the chopper, go to the call and even participate in the action. How about a callout where a wanted person has been traced, and you have to keep your distance while maintaining surveillance, just waiting for the right moment for the AI units to move in on him. I'm trying to exhaust and possibilities for callouts, you guys got anything?

Ah Simcopter, it make me want to go and buy a older computer just so I can play it again. On of Maixs greatest games (before EA made them Carp) the never got the sequel it should have.

 

As for the spotlight, you can do that if your flying low enough and are running 1.0+
