I have the latest of the .NET and it says i have an later version of the C++

And where do i find the xlive.dll?

Edited by alexXD

Are you running the game as an administrator?

How long after you begin to play does it crash?

Xlive.dll - When you install LCPDFR, you will be presented with a list of items with checkboxes next to them. one will say dsound.dll and another Xlive.dll. Select one or the other, do not select both.

Also using xlive.dll will remove your multiplayer so you will be unable to play online...

You don't have to delete dsound.dll. Just re-install LCPDFR but this time "check" the box that says XLive, Instead of the box that says dsound.

You should only delete dsound.dll if you're using xlive.dll. Remember, don't use them at the same time.

When you install over the top of an old install it will only overwrite old files not delete and then recopy. This means that if you select xlive.dll, the old dsound.dll will not be deleted automatically.

delete dsound.dll first and then reinstall but select xlive.dll instead.
