Traffic flow help

Featured Replies

Okay so i've encountered the taxi glitch and to solve this i've downloaded numerous amounts of traffic fixes ( Deleted them after they didn't work). So far none of them work except for "trafficflowv5" but it only works up to a certain point. During gameplay everything seems fine , but when i go on duty the enviorment seems to disappear and i dont know why. it kind of looks like this http://i970.photobuc...afficgltich.jpg . i've tried re-installing LCPDFR with dsound and xliveless and still nothing happens i still get the same results. The only thing i haven't done is uninstalling GTA and re-installing it. If anyone can help me i'd really appreciate it.

Not a problem with LCPDFR. Your PC runs out of VRAM (video ram). How you can fix that?

- Uninstall script mods you don't use

- Uninstall high-poly car mods

- Mess around with commandline.txt

- Get a GFXcard with more vram.

If I were you, I'd stay away from carpacks. What you need to know is that the default vehicles.img, which contains the default vehicles, is about 80MB large. You yourself said that you downloaded a car pack of 381MB. That's almost 5 times the size of the original so your memory just can't handle that. So in order to load the high poly models, your environment textures disappear or the game just loads taxi's. My advice would be to keep most of the cars default and try not to mod cars that spawn regularly or use low poly car mods. Sam has some nice low poly mods over at the download section.

Agreed. Before I had that problem. It is like that because you have to many modded cars, and therefore it takes away a lot of game data or rams on your PC. Its your PC, as listed above. If you have about 4GB Ram, I suggest you mod about 5 cars or less, since that wont take away a lot of data.

Just put all your cars in the Vehicles.img back to default. And start over with modding the cars.
