Can I ask for an ELS V8 Config flie for a FS Valor FPI

Downloaded a cj24's FPI yesterday,but its ELS v7 enabled, so its config file cant work properly under ELS V8.Tried to make a config file myself, but cant get it work perfectly

Copy the default_config file from ELS v8, edit it to your liking, save it as something else other then default_config.

Open up the _SLOTCONTROL.ini file, find the vehicle you're using the FPI with,  and if the file is set to default_config then change it to whatever you saved the file as.

Example is, I have the FPI in the police slot, and named the file fordinterceptor.

Here's what the _SLOTCONTROL.ini entry for police would look like:

 

In this case, change the fordinterceptor in the below example to whatever you named the config file, and for the vehicle you're using the FPI under, that would be where VEHICLESLOTNAME is.

Best lighting for the Valor is Pattern 37 on ELS 8. I know this because my Valor and CJ's are the only properly mapped one. Other people who have used my Valor have the exact same lighting still. If they are properly mapped, 37 is the best option to go with.
