How Does One Create a Vehicle Model With A Skin?

Hello, I'm trying to create my own Fairfax County Police Department vehicle pack, and I haven't the slightest clue on how to begin. A step by step tutorial would be much appreciated. I've linked some of the vehicles that I want to create (Or have someone else create if possible) for my pack. Thanks in advance for any responses!

Look in the tutorials section of the site, they go over a lot of this stuff in there. If you want the models you need Zmodeler and hours and hours worth of learning/trial and error until you learn how to use it. There is no "easy" way to do it. You'll also need the models, the CVPI is available but thats about it. No Taurus or Explorer exist unlocked. Not only will you need the base car models but the lights and parts to go along with them. There is no unlocked Tomar Blade available. Most of the other parts are available though. The skins can just be made with photoshop. There is already a Fairfax county CVPI released in the downloads.... I'm not trying to discourage you from doing it but your going to have a hard time finding a lot of what you would need to complete this - not to mention the time spent just learning how to use Zmodeler properly

Well shit, there goes that idea LOL. I can use the already existing CVPI, but the Ford Taurus is unbearable. I just can't have 10 of the exact same car in one pursuit, just doesn't look right to me. The Fairfax County Ford Taurus is just a copy and paste of the CVPI skin, it doesn't even fit correctly on the vehicle. Hopefully someone in the future can create something like this, that has the experience and the tools necessary. Thanks for the response, much appreciated.

Thats why I gave up a few years ago. :pinch::confused::mellow:

I barely did anything, had trouble moving/rotating the objects etc... It seems there is like 100 steps to do...:ohmy:

I am thinking of going back to it, and actually make an effort.:yes:

Hopefully I will have time for it.

My so called goal is to export at least 1 CVPI.

How are the skins enabled/attached? Something inside Zmodeler?
