You need a graphics card. Like I said, big manufacturers aren't where you should look when you look for a good deal for the buck. That acer doesn't even have a graphics card.

  • Dell, HP, etc all overprice their products. If you don't want to get a Laptop, there is no reason to go with those. I recommend you build one yourself or ask a friend who knows how to do it.

  • Yes, should work fine.

  • SIGH. LCPDFR and third party mods such as trainer's do not usually require decent hardware.. In short: Buy a PC that can run GTA IV decently and you'll be able to run LCPDFR.

I'm afraid someone else will have to answer that one, cuz I don't have a clue lol. The only thing about ENB that I know about is that I can't use it.

Depending on which ELS, yes.

You need to get a Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse with that, though. What you showed is just the tower.

Alright, sooo the other computer I wanted to get isn't sold online and I dont live near anywhere near stores that sell it. So here is my next option -- http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1494904&Sku=SYX-1115

Will GTA LCPDFR run well with nothing additional to buy with that one? Thanks again guys!

Most likely not. First off, GTA4 does not like ATi video cards. Not alot of games do. In my experience, ATi (or AMD) has been lacking in good drivers for the past few years.

Secondly, the GPU is not really that important in GTA4, its all about the video memory. Which GTA will eat alive if you dont have enough of it. 1GB will be enough for medium settings to run smoothly, but youll have a hard time running high textures.

Thirdly, as everyone else suggested. Build your own computer. I built my computer for $950 and it consist of:

Intel i7-970

P6X58-E Pro

12GB DDR3 Triple Channel (XMP 1600mhz, 20GB/s)

G80 8800GTS 320MB (have had since 2007)

60GB OCz SSD

2x 320GB WD HDDs (already had)

650W Antec Power Supply (had for yearsss)

LG DVD burner (had for a long time, forget the model name)

And for $950 my PC probably wont play GTA4 better than that one, but it will do alot more things better. Another $200 would get you a graphics card that will max out almost any game.

$850 for a "future proof" PC as someone had said, is a bit far off if you include SSDs and HDDs and a PSU. (which sounds like you wont already have so youll need to buy).

Id suggest getting a video card that has at least 2GB of RAM. Dont do crossfire or SLi, they arnt really worth it.

It would be almost a waste of money to buy that PC, since AMD has been going down the drain that socket will be useless in a year or 2 and that processor isnt that good to begin with.

Youd be better off with that Core i5 you listed before the AMD. That platform will be more powerful and last you alot longer.

After reading your last thread, you might as well save up alot more money and not worry about it right now. $300 wont get you anything.

Okay the thing is I can't build a computer myself, I dont really know anything bout computers. So isnt there a computer I can buy and GTA LCPDFR will work with out having to buy anything else? And If I would build on someone would have to do it for me, and I would need all the links to things I would need.

Hello everyone, sorry of all this confusing stuff ive been posting, lol. Well the original computer I was gonna get wasnt online to order but now its back. So I am thinking of getting this one. Just wanna double check that with this computer the specs are good enough to play LCPDFR and has anough RAM, graphics card....etc...thanks a bunch! -- http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1344750&CatId=114

Just making sure its worth it :)

If you're looking for someone to build a PC for you, check out http://www.overclockers.co.uk/

You can chose what you want in the PC.

I had a little pop and putting together a system, it's easy and it'll notify you if anything's compatible.

I came up with this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/viewcart.php

Its a bit pricey but It'll run GTA on Maximum settings, throw in a second graphics card and you could even get EnB working.

Still, you could probably get an even better system for a price lower than that.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

If you dont know how to build a computer (really isnt that hard) and dont wanna get into it, then yes that computer will do just fine. Dont expect to max out GTA with it though. And the 1155 socket (which is that one) appears to still be performing very well for gaming so youd even probably be able to upgrade that CPU to an even faster i5. Although it being an OEM windows install, it might not like that.

Alright, but with that computer I will still be able to play LCPDFR well? and be able to add mods and trainers and stuff?
