Active means whether ELS will be used, halogen locks it into a rotator pattern for cars with mx7000s and vectors, color represents light colors, there is a guide for that in the ini file, andI have no idea what offst_slights means.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

You also have to edit the emerglights_emis texture in the wtd file,

some models come with this file to the wft, so you cant change that...!!!

I meant you can use another template bro...!!!!

There are a lot of lightbars, with different emis templates, download and edit it from the wtd file...!!!!

See the ones below, the first one is full blue light, the second gives you red and blue...!!!!

Man,you are talking about the reflections (in your first post).It means that if your car is emitting lights with siren,what reflections will show on the road and near environment.The one Aparna is talking about is the main texture of lights ON the vehicle.I repeat,the image above is not about reflections,but the lightbar color.

As for your original question:

[ POLICE2 ]

Active = 1

Halogen_Only = 0

Color_Light1L = 0

Color_Light2L = 0

Color_Light3R = 0

Color_Light4R = 0

Color_Light7L = 3

Color_Light8C = 3

Color_Light9R = 3

Offst_SLights = 0

Color_Light1L is for what reflections will manifest themselves on the left side of the car.Similarly,Color_Light2L is for the right.For example,if you have Red part of the lightbar on left,put the value 0 in Color_Light1L and Color_Light2L,respectively.And if you have Blue part of the lightbar on right,put the value 1 in Color_Light1R and Color_Light1R,respectively.Now whats with these values,you ask.If you've ever played around with the els.ini you might know that:

Red =0

Blue=1

White=2

Amber=3

Green=4.

The difference between 1L and 2L is that they'll flash alternatively in default mode (i.e. A01).Offst_SLights are the secondary hazard lights situated in the rear windshield in most cases (the ones which are yellow).So always,assign value 3 to them,unless you have any exceptions.I don't know about those 4R,7L,etc. etc. as I have V5 of Luxart's Emergency Lighting System.

Hope this helps.

In simple terms you change the # value in the .ini file using notepad to make the light relfectons in the game change. This way when your car has blue and red lights they will flash and you will see the correct color reflection. Below is the only section you truly need to worry about to make your red/blue blue/blue red/red flashes look proper in the game. If you want to change the actually color of the light on your car...well you need to use a photo program to edit colors and the like.

Color_Light1L = 0

Color_Light2L = 0

Color_Light3R = 0

Color_Light4R = 0

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.
