YF-23 Vs F-22

Featured Replies

Also This is still much faster than most, if not all, of the planes, reaching 3.500 km/h speed. However, Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird is a bomber while the F-22/YF-23 are fighter planes designed for dogfights.

EDIT: SR71 is NOT a bomber... It is a spy plane. Thank you Reibu for pointing it out and fixing it.

I still prefer the SR71, now that was a cool looking aircraft.

The SR71 was a spy plane, it didn't carry a payload. Superior speed and altitude were it's weapons.

Oh... Thank you for fixing my mistake.

Both are nice planes, F22 was one of my favorites. Hard to believe they're already discontinued.

The F35 better be a nice plane, the military is putting all their eggs in the same basket on that contract.

I believe my dad worked on the YF-23 project back in his days as a junior officer. I remember him showing me a manual of some sort from when he worked on the project. Personally the F-16 is my favorite aircraft, I also used to be a big fan of the F-4 Phantom. KC-135s and E-3s are really cool aircraft as well and one of my favorite Navy aircraft is the E-2 Hawkeye.

Ask him does the Cockpit of the YF-23 resemble the F-15E
