i know that there is the Police clan or whatever for 360 that does an LCPD tribute to 9/11, but i was thinking the other day what if the LCPDFR site were too do something like that, instead of just using NYPD or LCPD car's, what if there was a possibility too have 1 vehicle per player, 1 vehicle from each state or province ranging from canada to the united states all driving around ground zero and liberty city with lights flashing, sirens etc? that does sound like alot of work too get it going but it would be a very nice gesture too the families who lost there loved ones in the attacks, i showed my mom a GTAIV 9/11 tribute and she cried, made me think of the idea.

That would be more than 50 Vehicles.... With ELS.... and High-Poly....

Haha! i was thinking about that after, but theres that server with an RCMP clan, but i'm assuming in order too do this you'd have too have a computer from space? LOL +1 that made me laugh!

Even if everyone reverted to stock vehicles I'm not sure if people's computers could handle it... I would love to do it but for the sake of others I'm not sure how well it would work. :confused:

Maybe an album with a picture of each favorite or hometown Real-Life skin would suit everyone, at home, I have a currently wonky Wi-Fi setup (too many Wi-Fi routers in the apartment block) and causes some disruption of the signal. This would also prevent into running issues with some players having stock, ELS or other non-ELS car mods. Just set up a place, like Star Junction for example, for us to take a picture.

How about just re-branding the original cruisers?

well, if anyone could give me a link too an original car that you can change skins on, i'll make a skin from where your from and only give it too YOU cuz i have seen comments on the WTC mod that people wanted too fly helicopter's, planes, bomb the buildings etc, which is entirely distasteful and disrespectful, but that's my opinion

I've still got my original vehicle.img (i think) , I can just edit the original skins through GIMP or paint.net

i use paint.net cuz i haven't figured out how too use GIMP :P, i didn't think you could edit the original skins cuz they don't have a template :confused:

They don't, just a flattened image which makes it extremely complicated when skinning

Yep I think thats right so you have to use imported models. There are models made with templates of the stock police cars but if your importing anyway then might as well use the non els low poly cars Sam made. You get a CVPI and Charger then.

If it grows beyond planning stage I would be happy to take part.

I installed the WTC mod once just to see what It was like. From the thread the devs seemed to be very respectfull and doing it for the right reasons but I uninstalled it when I walked into the lobby and peds were falling from the first floor. Not an ideal scene. It should never have been released with that bug imo.

lot's of bugs have been fixed on the WTC mod, but for some reason my screen gets blown up with error messages :( anyway, i go back too work tomorrow from my much needed 2 day's off and work the rest of the week, but my next set of day's off i'll get cracking on these skin's, if you guy's would like too help with this that would be AWESOME and would be glad too work with you guy's :)
