GTA IV crashes very often

Hello,

I have installed LCPDFR 1.0, it is a great mod! But now, after I have  installed the ELS and a few vehicle and  included new police uniforms, the game crashes after a few minutes.

Further I have uploaded the logfiles so you can look on it.

Are there any problems?

Do you still have the link to the new vehicles and uniforms still if not then thats okay. But anyway, I think its gotta be the uniforms. Try taking them out and if it fixes the crash problem then it is the uniforms. If its not then its gotta be the vehicles. ELS can't crash unless if you put it in right.

Hello,

sure I know what the link is because the uniforms and the vehicles are nice.

I installed this vehicle pack:

'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

And this is one is for the uniforms:

'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

And yes, Els is totally right installed.

Hopefully this will help!

So, I have new issues, but GTA is still crashing. Perhaps the uploaded logfile (old and new) will help to find the problem!

Furthermore I want to give thanks to Rareoblox, because he tried to help me!

Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR.

You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them.

Please do the following:

  • Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks
  • Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues
  • Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
  • Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
  • Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
  • Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • Install these: .Net Framework 4.5Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012

If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post.

If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following:

  • Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.
  • Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.
  • State what solutions you have tried.
  • Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log).
  • Include as much information as possible.
  • Post your system specifications.
  • Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods.

Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

Hello,

no I have not failed to read the instructions, but thanks to your positive welcome greets.

I already have tried all of your solutions but they did not solve the problem.

The problem is that GTA IV is very often crashing without any reasons. Yesterday I joined a pursuit in the Middle Park when suddenly the game crashed and I returned to the Desktop. Every time this happened another error showed to me up. One it was the famous "smpa60" error, then later another error like "out of memory - restart the game" showed to me up.

I have installed following mods, but they normally  should work:

-> ELS v. 8

-> LCPDFR 1.0

-> Simple Native Trainer

-> '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

->'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

->Traffic Flow mod

I don´t know but I have not so many mods installed.

I only have the following installed:

ELS v.8

ELS police cars (They should work because nobody reported any bugs)

new Weapons (http://www.gta4-mods.com/weapons/swat-issued-weapons-f15011)

new police uniforms

and the trafficflow

But I also have to say that the game crashes when I want to call for a prisoner transport!

Try removing your car mods.
