Hi LCPDFR!,

 

I want to convert Cj24's unlocked CVPI (2003 version) to a 2011 version. what do i have to change to make it look like a 2011?

Firstly, the interior would need a bit of a change; however not much. The steering wheel and the speedometer are the biggest noticeable changes:

The first is the 2003, 2nd and 3rd are the 2011 model...

 

Another change is there are small chrome tabs in the grill, only for the hexagonal grill, however.

Again, the first is the 2003 model:

 

Also, the rims on a 2003 and 2011 are different, but on Cj24's model, the 2011 ones are used, so I won't cover that.

 

That's all the main ones I've noticed. There may be a few others but as I say, I haven't noticed them.

The 2011 model came with a badge that said FLEX FUEL next to the passenger side tail light

 

 

Also, all CVPI's come with black door handles, the chrome handles were for the civilian crown vic and for street appearance package CVPI's, the chrome grill is also part of the street appearance package.

This is an easy fix, the texture for the door handle is in the cv_stuff texture.

did the flexfuel logo exist on the interceptor models?

Yes, that picture is of a police interceptor.

civilian and s.a.p. versions had chrome slatted griles and p7B (police interceptor) and taxi versions had the honeycomb grilles

CVPI's also don't have a wood trim dash.
