New PC Build - Help ?

2GB of RAM is still low to run GTA IV properly. Right now I'm running with only one stick of RAM, so that means 4GB instead of 8, and I'm experiencing lags with max settings, so... But both the CPU and GPU would probably need to be upgraded as well if you really want to increase your framerate.

  • The Phenom is an AM3, so it's compatible with an AM3+ MoBo. So is the RAM, which is DDR3 and will therefore fit on a MoBo which supports DDR3.

  • The CPU and motherboard are compatible (AM3+ motherboards can support AM3 CPUs) and the motherboard uses 240pin RAM. Looks good to me. As for the graphics, I'd go with something in the GTX 500 famil

  • Good MB and Processor bro..!!! Also max ram only 8GB...!!! Anyways for graphics card your're spending $150..?? If yes I think you can afford either the Sapphire HD 6770 VaporX or EVGA GT
