I was absolutely devastated when I heard this tragic news. He was such a funny, inspiring, and wonderful man whose death has shocked those who knew him. May he forever Rest in Peace.

  • Ah. I read it was a Pre-production due to release next year on IMDb. Thanks for the info.   We can only hope that Night in the Museum 3 comes out and hopefully does him and his family proud.    Re

  • Urrr.. Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji?!    Such a shame. Mrs. Doubtfire 2 was in production, perhaps they have enough footage to still release the film? Sad news.   RIP.

Not even going to lie, I shed a tear or two. He was my childhood.

I can second that. Plus Jumanji, Lets not forget about that childhood classic of his.

I actually read this on FB when i first woke up, i thought it was just another one of those fake/hoax deaths that people do.. then i went onto his Wikipedia and saw he did die from asphyxiation.

Funny thing is, i was only watching an interview of him on YT the night before, sucks really.. He was a great actor =(

It's terrible that someone that touched millions in such a happy way was hurting inside. The best word to describe him; happy.

Everything needs more lights.

I really dont feel that sad about him dying I guess cuz i didnt really watch a lot of movies on him but you can clearly see he was such a awesome and happy person just a shame depression got into him

My PROFILE

It's been one horrific news story after another this summer, R.I.P.

Though I don't respect people who kill themselves, I find it cowardly. You hurt your family and friends, there's nothing right in doing that. It's selfish.

I don't disagree, but I suppose one could make the case that under the influences of Alcohol and/or Drugs, it can make somebody make irrational decisions like suicide.

That's very true. But for people who are completely sober and make that decision, I find it wrong.

Absolutely agreed. I guess we may not know in the case of Mr. Williams, we do know he was battling with alcoholism however. Very upsetting.

It was confirmed that he was sadly found hanging in what appears to be a suicide. No matter how he died, it was a real shock that someone who provided a great deal of happiness for people could silently suffer with such a mental illness of depression and various addictions.

Robin Williams was a massive part of my childhood which is now tinged with sadness.

May he forever rest in peace.
