Forcing NTFS check?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I just took out my fan to clean it, and when I put it back in, it booted up fine. And I shut it down, and after that when I booted it up again it starts saying

"Checking file system on C: file system is NTFS

One of the disks have to be checked for consistency"

And when I try to press a key on my keyboard so it doesn't start, it doesn't detect the keys, but it detects the keys when I go into boot menu.

Why is this occurring and how can I disable it?

Obviously typing this on another device.

Does it do it all the time? If not, just let it run through.

This is the first time it's happened in like a year, and like I said, it gives me the chance to by-pass it, but my keyboard seems to be disabled in those 10 seconds. I'm just letting it run now.

How long do you think this should take?
