is there a way to make games stop needing the cd to play? and y do they need the cd cus iv played games were i dont need the cd but for most u do y?

Two main reasons,

  1. To stop piracy, you can't play the game without the CD so you can't install it, pass it to your mate then sell it.
  2. Sometimes games require alot of files so to save space some are kept stored on the CD instead of the Hard Drive.
