The game runs like crap on High settings but runs fine on medium although i do have a pretty good system and plan to run GTAV on medium when it comes out.

Intel® Core i5-4440S
8 gig of RAM

Nvidia GeForce GT 640

If i add too many car files or weapon mods, the game will crap itself and leave me with texture loss. I use vanilla Cars during my patrols and i use LCPDFR 1.0C.

  • Running LCPDFR and some mods by Custo and Callahan. That's about it.  Not having any crashes, atleast not within hours.

  • CryENB v1 or iCEnhancer 3 (Still figuring it out) and about 3 Police Cars in and ELS v8 and my crash rate is extremely low.

  • Damnit, forgot about your mods. Sowwi

I run a buncha mods and crash roughly every 30 minutes or so.

I too have a problem with spawning certain vehicles, freeze then texture loss. Funny thing is, in a different install I could spawn those certain vehicles easily. I'd recommend changing your faulty car.

My LCPDFR mods/settings:

Ambient Scenarios in the settings folder is set to 0. Helped with that message "LCPDFR has encountered an error".

# of crashes...... 0. Ever since I removed the trainer, ENB, and other vehicle mods. I now use the phone cheat 362-555-0100 to repair my vehicle. But if you use this, remember that entering the police computer will cause the phone to no longer work. So I stay away from the police computer now. Oh, and I run the "Launch GTA IV" as Administrator of course.

I run GTA on max settings, i also use CryENB V2 and Game4Video ENB. I have all the police cars, the firetruck and the ambulance modded expect the prisioner transport. I'm planning to push the limits and see how much my GTA can handle. By replacing all the cars with new ones etc. My game dosn't crash that much, but i have some issues with LCPDFR stop working after about 20-50 minutes.
