I myself have no clue how to do vehicle models or lighting so i was wondering could anyone update this police bike mod to ELS V8 http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/harley-davidson-flh-1200-police-f9510 as the current version of the bike is els 6 & crashe's users who have ELS 8.

The vehicle model is locked and cannot (and should not be) modified. Developers make their models locked so that people do not steal their work. You could either contact the original creator of the model, or use the non-ELS version of the bike.

ELS V6 vehicles will work just fine with ELS V8 (I just tested it with this motorcycle and it works fine). You need to update _SLOTCONTROL.ini with this:

 

[ POLICEB ]

Status = on

File = default_config (or whatever VCF you choose)

 

If the game is crashing because of the bike then there is another problem.

 

Are you installing it to GTA IV or replacing policeb in EFLC?

I use this bike, works perfectly fine with me.

Installing to EFLC TBOGT it works for about 5 to 10 minutes then els crashes.
