Hey everyone.

 

 

Randomly as I'm playing the audio for the dispatcher becomes a never ending loop of just static. When I look in the LCPD:FR log I see:

So far looks normal to me. LCPDFR looks for a different audio file to play. No problem. But then I see this:

 

GetAudioFileForAction: Location parameter is NULL for CALL_IN_PURSUIT
 

The only way to fix it is to restart GTA4, but the problem is becoming more common. The audio files are there so I'm not sure why it's having trouble accessing them in the directory. Of course, all dependencies are installed, legit GTA4, read-only off, etc etc.

 

I can't seem to find this problem on google or the site, so any help would be appreciated.

Are you doing anything to interrupt the audio? For example if you get a callout and then go off duty that will produce the exact same never ending loop of static.

Could you also please post your full LCPDFR.log file (as an attachment or in a spoiler if you copy the text) and a screenshot of your GTA IV directory please?

Right ok. I see you're using 2 API plugins. Are you using any other script mods?

I would suggest try removing all your mods except LCPDFR and see if it still happens.

I would suggest try removing all your mods except LCPDFR and see if it still happens.

 

I just added the screenshot if it tells you any more information.

 

As far as scripts, I'm using two plugins for LCPDFR calls (callouts+ and wouters), as well as VDH's scripts (tow, corner, PolHelper)

 

I also have Native Trainer, ELS and an ENB.

 

I'll try removing the plugins though to see if they are an issue. The issue happens randomly but I'll play and see if it happens.

Oh.I do that to disable the file without having to delete it. That way if I want to re-enable it I can just rename it back to it's original name.

According to LMS the .asi deals with some memory unprotections, and fixes some game crashes and enhances compatibility with EFLC.

I've turned on the previously mentioned .asi and I found the game does run better. However, I'm still having issues with the audio, even after removing the third party plugins. This time it happened during a shoot out. It seems to always happen when it references street names.

 

 

The only problems are found in the LCPDFR log. Here is what I see:

There are some streets that do not have an audio file associated with them, so the mod will try to read a non-existent audio file and throw that error. It shouldn't affect your gameplay at all aside from not hearing that street name on the police radio.

Unfortunately I still get a steady static sound that continues endlessly over the radio when a street name isn't found. I'm not sure what to do besides copy and paste an audio file and rename it to a street that has no .wav file.
