Liveries not working properly

Featured Replies

Hey guys!

I imported some liveries for my police vehicles with OpenIV. But there are huge RAM issues after that. No textures loading and all that stuff. Also, I can spawn some of the police cars, but for the Patriot (Granger) the trainer says that it couldn't spawn the requested vehicle and I should check the model..

So, is there a software that's better than OpenIV for importing textures? Or with what settings should I import them with OIV?

I don't think that the model is faulty nor that the import failed. There most likely isn't enough space to load the vehicle in memory. The model and/or its textures are probably too heavy.

In addition to the post above, if you are experiencing texture loss, you may wish to turn down texture resolution. Another thing that may help is setting the MipMaps in the config to a higher value.

High value = more pixellated it will get as the texture quality is reduced from in-game = less memory usage.

Similarly, the lowest value (1) = texture edges will remain sharp as the texture quality is reduced in-game = more memory usage.
