Suspect ALWAYS resisting arrest after Frisk, why?

Featured Replies

I found a bug here and not sure how to fix this.  I do not have it on hardcore mode just so you know.

My bug happens just after I frisk someone from a traffic stop or even just randomly on the street.   I aim my gun at them, press E, they comply, then I HOLD E to bring up the order menu.  I frisk them and most of the time I find nothing and they are okay.  Here is where the bug is.  After frisking them, I aim my gun back at them to continue the orders to either check ID or let them go?  No matter what I do at this point they will ALWAYS either fight me or run no matter what.  Its as if my gun scares them off and they run.  I have never been able to finish a frisk and let them go.  They always run or fight after a frisk.  How can I fix this?  Or can you please fix this in the next patch.

Can someone else try this and see if yours also does this.  Just walk up to a random person.  Aim your gun at them, press E.  They stop and comply.  Then hold E press the Investigate option and then Frisk.  You usually wont find anything on them and the officer will say, "You are free to go, sorry to trouble you."  Then point your gun at the suspect again.  Hold E or Press, either way it does the same thing, and watch them run or start fighting you.  See if yours does this too.  I can try to make a video, but what is the best free program to make a quick video for this?

Try aiming at them with without weapons, (holding down the RMB will lock onto them) and use the menu that way, hopefully they won't be afraid of your firearm then

But as for the bug itself I have never had that problem, I might get the occasional resistance but that is while I am originally trying to stop them. I suggest completely un-installing LCPDFR and re-installing it again.

That did seem to help.  Thank you.  Although, it doesn't seem 100% because maybe 1 out of 5 will run after the frisk still without aiming the gun at them.   Sure wish it would be a lot less, like 1 out of 15 to make it more shocking and rare.

In my last comment, not using the gun seemed to help a little, but the next day not using the gun and the bug is still happening.  Okay here is a video of exactly what happens each time I frisk someone no matter who or where.  Its a guaranteed fights or chase every time.  Please help.

Are you using Bravehart's Policing script?  That might be the problem.

Are you using Bravehart's Policing script?  That might be the problem.

Yes I am, but this has never been an issue for me before.  I have been using both always.  The one thing I changed was an ENB and then noticed this happening.  I recently changed to another ENB and its still happening.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the LCPDFR since and still happens.  Is the script thinking I have hardcore mode on or something?  I have checked and I do not, but am thinking of turning it on maybe its backwards or something.  I will try to remove the policing script... Darn I really love it an need the tow truck and coroner mod.  But to narrow thing down I will check.

If anyone has other suggestions, please dont wait for me to check and please suggest here.  Thanks.

For those who are also having this problem I have fixed it.  Someone mentioned this earlier and I gave it a shot.  I was running both Policing Script and LCPDFR at the same time.  I always did that before and there was never an issue until I changed my ENB for some strange reason.  Dont ask me, I have no idea why.  So I pull out all the policing script files and the LCPDFR is working greater than ever.  Its so refreshing and awesome the way it works now.  Love it.
